The Les Paul Music City Special – 50th Anniversary is an updated, modern twist on two historical Gibson models, taking much of its inspiration from the '70s-era Marauder with a touch of the Music City Junior in its DNA.

This limited-edition run is finished in Tobacco Burst and is in near-mint condition  (just 2 minor blemishes on very close inspection and if being picky - as pictured). It's very lightweight at only 7lb 2oz.

Over the years, the Marauder has been used by artists from Adam Jones to Paul Stanley. This unique commemorative model pays tribute to the early days of Gibson’s Nashville production and celebrates Gibson’s 50 years of producing world-class guitars in Music City while delivering outstanding value to modern players.

The lightweight, contoured body is solid poplar. The maple neck has a fast-playing and comfortable Slim Taper profile and is equipped with a striped ebony fretboard that is adorned with acrylic dot inlays and outfitted with 22 medium jumbo frets. The 12” fretboard radius makes first-position chords and string bends higher up the fretboard equally effortless. The hardware is chrome-plated, including the Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, and output jack plate cover. A black 5-ply pickguard holds two Gibson '70s Tribute humbucker pickups, which are wired to an intuitive and comfortable control layout consisting of master volume and master tone controls with black Top Hat knobs and a three-way pickup selector toggle switch

It comes complete with its original padded gig bag and its paperwork/candy.
