Latest release Fender American Ultra Luxe Vintage '50s Telecaster finished in classic Butterscotch Blonde.

 

This is a top-tier guitar designed for serious players who demand the highest standards in tone, playability, and construction. It combines Fender's vintage roots with modern performance upgrades, making it an exceptional choice for studio, stage, or professional use.

 

It features the new 'Heirloom' nitrocellulose lacquer finish (similar to the Custom Shop 'Closet Classic' finish) where the body is aged and covered in lacquer checking - plus a few surface impressions. We've included lots of close up photos to illustrate this. The Heirloom finish not only offers a vintage aesthetic, but also allows the wood to breathe and resonate more naturally over time, enhancing tonal richness. The finish is designed to wear in a way that mirrors vintage guitars, giving each instrument a unique and authentic appearance.

 

Features include a Select Ash body, known for its resonance and clear tonal character. The body includes contoured shaping for improved comfort and balance during long playing sessions. The quartersawn maple neck has a Modern "D" profile, offering a slim but substantial feel suitable for a wide range of playing styles. Fender's Ultra rolled fingerboard edges and a smooth satin finish ensure exceptional comfort, while the tapered neck heel provides easy access to higher frets. A compound 10"-14" fingerboard radius supports both comfortable chording near the nut and effortless bends higher up the neck. Luminlay side dots improve visibility on dark stages, and stainless steel medium-jumbo frets offer excellent durability and smooth playability with minimal maintenance.

 

The hardware is built for professional reliability. A six-saddle Ultra Tele bridge with unplated polished brass saddles provides precise intonation, strong sustain, and enhanced tonal balance across all strings. Locking short-post tuners ensure stable tuning and quick string changes. Combined, these features make the American Ultra Luxe Vintage '50s Telecaster a high-performance instrument that maintains the essential qualities of a vintage Fender while delivering modern reliability and versatility.

 

At the heart of the guitar are a pair of Pure Vintage '51 Telecaster single-coil pickups. These pickups are built to vintage specifications, using traditional materials like alnico magnets and cloth wiring, delivering classic Telecaster tone with clarity, twang, and dynamic response. The addition of an S-1 switch expands tonal options by allowing series and parallel pickup wiring, while a treble bleed circuit retains high-end clarity when lowering the volume.

 

It's lightweight at only 7lb 3oz and comes with its original Fender tweed case, paperwork and candy as pictured.
