Mayones Guitars have been offering the perfect fusion of modern design and exceptional craftsmanship for over 40 years. Critically acclaimed metal guitarist Adam Christianson's riff work and virtuoso lead lines have changed the world of modern metal, and when you're in a band like Architects, you definitely need an instrument that's up to the challenge. 

This signature guitar is based around the Mayones Aquila body shape and the beauty is in the simplicity of the design. It begins with an American Ash body, which has been exposed to Mayones's Tonally Enhanced Wood program, helping to add resonance, stability and clarity, all of which are essential in a band like Architects. Stained in an awesome Antique Black matte the Cardinal looks mean and menacing.

Paired up with a Tonally Enhanced and graphite reinforced Maple neck, it offers great stability and resonance. The custom D-Shape neck is comfortable and allows for quick and easy movements. The Ebony fingerboard features a slightly rounder 12" radius alongside 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets, 43.5mm nut width, 25.4"scale, and a Graph Tech TUSQ nut. It is finished off with a Hipshot fixed bridge and Gotoh locking tuners.

In a band like Architects its essential to cut through and stand out, thanks to the Mayones Velvetrone Ironside and Solium pickups, Adam can do just that. This set allows for a great full frequency range and a really dynamic response. The Ironside bridge pickup is like a sledgehammer and produces a high output, focused tone. The Solium neck humbucker is balanced in response and is harmonically rich, it's perfect for soulful leads and silky cleans! It comes complete with its original premium gig bag and its paperwork.
