Gibson Custom Shop '59 reissue Les Paul finished in Dirty Lemon VOS and with its original sales receipt - purchased new for £6500 only a few months ago (July 2025).

 

It has a stunning highly-figured flamed top that we've photographed in both studio and natural light for comparison. It's in near- mint condition, with just 2 very minor blemishes on close inspection - as per our zoomed in images. 

 

The 1959 Les Paul Standard is probably the most coveted guitars in the world, with only around 650 of the original 59 guitars produced, making them rare and beyond unaffordable to most. This 60th anniversary Custom Shop replica of the classic guitar is crafted by the world's top luthiers to recreate the icon with incredible accuracy and attention to detail.

  

It features a lightweight Mahogany body, flamed Maple top, chunky ‘C’ shape mahogany neck with smooth Rosewood fretboard and medium jumbo frets, deluxe tuners, anniversary backplate, ABR-1 bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The Custom Bucker pickups sound fantastic - full and powerful whilst also being dynamic with plenty of resonance and sustain. Anyone who plays this guitar will instantly feel where the legendary status of the '59 comes from.

 

It comes complete with it's original lifton-style case and paperwork.
