Stunning Telecaster Deluxe built by one of the world's best masterbuilders - Paul Waller. This super-rare 1-off build is based on a 1972 Tele Dlx and has a striking Candy Apple Red over 3 Tone Sunburst heavy relic finish and is covered in lacquer checking on close inspection (as we've tried to illustrate on the close up images). It's very lightweight at only 6lb 15oz and is in exceptional condition.
The premium spec includes a Ash body with belly-cut contour, a relic Maple neck with comfortable 60s style Oval C profile. It has a 9.5" radius AAA Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dots, Sanko 6105 frets, vintage style tuners and 3-saddle bridge.
The electrics include a handwound original black guard single coil pickup in the bridge position that has tons of power, and the neck pickup has been upgraded to a sweeter sounding Seymour Duncan SH1N (the distinctive pearl gold inlaid top from the original pickup has been retained to keep the guitar looking identical). It's super versatile thank to it's 2 volume control, 1 tone and then 1 control for the Clapton-style mid-boost circuit which is hidden under the pickguard with a new 9v battery. This provides an amazing gain-boost which adds thickness and overdrive without the need for a tubescreamer (or similar style) effects pedal.
It comes with its original case, COA, candy and paperwork as pictured.
