Yamaha Revstar Standard finished in Turquoise- combining excellent specs and versatility, with amazing value for money.

It is in very good condition with some blemishes on close inspection on the back/side (most of which you can't see unless bouncing light directly onto the surface as we have done in the photos to exaggerate them). Some light surface scratches out of sight on the rear (would likely polish out) and the front face is clean. Frets are excellent and everything works as it should without issue.

The body is made of Mahogany with a Maple top and is chambered to give weight relief. It features carbon reinforcement in the neck for reinforcement and to improve vibration transfer.  The neck has a satin finish, shallow C (slim-medium) profile, a Rosewood fingerboard, 24-3/4" scale length, 12" fingerboard radius, 22 jumbo stainless steel frets and 10.5mm string spacing. 

It has Alnico V P90-style single-coils that are chiming, custom Yamaha designs. Despite only having two pickups, there is a 5-way pickup selector switch that has a great twist.  In positions two and four, a slight delay is added to the other pickup for a cool phase shift that differs from the classic in-between sounds that are available on so many other guitars three pickup guitars and virtually never on two pickup instruments. Another exciting voicing feature comes from the push/pull tone control.  This is known as the Focus Switch and it engages a passive boost that gives an awesome aggressive, overwound pickup sound.  It tames the high-end back whilst pushing the lows and mids, adding another layer of versatility. Finally it comes with a deluxe gig bag to protect it and paperwork.
