Premium Custom Shop 'R6' Les Paul finished in Double Gold.

In exceptional condition with only very minor sings of wear on close inspection (a few of tiny blemishes which are barely invisible unless bouncing light onto the surface as we have done in the photos to exaggerate them).

This authentic recreation exemplifies Gibson Custom Shop's tireless quest for accuracy to the original year of production, from the woods to the construction and parts. Period correct features include a lightweight Mahogany 1-piece back with Maple top, chunky C-profile Mahogany neck with Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 12” radius, Hide Glue fit, Narrow/Tall frets, Long-tenon, and vintage style Kluson tuners.

1956 was the only full year in which the Les Paul model featured the powerful P-90 pickups, and the Custom Soapbar P-90s aim to recreate that special tone. It has 2x Volume, 2x Tone controls and all-quality components including CTS 500K Audio Taper Potentiometers, Paper-in-Oil Capacitors and Switchcraft 3-way pickup selector. 

It comes complete with its paperwork, COA, Candy, and Lifton Custom Shop case to keep it protected.
