Stunning PRS Wood Library Special 22 finished in 'Blue Fade' and with a superb flamed top that we've photographed both in studio/natural light for comparison.

It features a semi-hollow Mahogany body with stunning flamed Maple top, comfortable ‘Pattern’ profile neck with luxurious Ebony fingerboard with decorative bird inlays, phase 3 locking tuners and trem bridge.

 

In terms of versatility, an H/S/H pickup configuration is difficult to beat. That's why the PRS Special Semi-Hollow is arguably one of PRS most diverse instruments, featuring 2x 58/15 humbuckers and a Narrowfield single-coil in the middle position. The 58/15s are notorious for delivering that classic PAF-style sound, but with improved consistency and better balance across the frequency spectrum. Their medium output makes them ideal for both clean and overdriven tones, and they can be split to single coils via the dedicated mini switches.

 

The Narrowfield pickup delivers the bite and clarity of a single-coil pickup, which works brilliantly in conjunction with the humbuckers. When using positions 2 and 4 on the 5-way blade switch, you can attain those distinctive, chimey out-of-phase tones.

  

It's very lightweight at only 6lb 14oz, and comes complete with its original hard case, trem arm and paperwork.
