This superb Novo Custom Solus M1 is deceptively simple in design, but packed with character, tone, and feel.

The striking Grape Jelly Sparkle example is a perfect showcase of Novo’s ability to combine vintage inspiration with modern boutique execution. It has a distressed light relic finish from factory and no discernible wear. It is covered in lacquer checking on close inspection as we've tried to highlight in some of the close-up photos and it offers distinctive offset styling with boutique-level craftsmanship.

The tempered pine body gives the guitar a lively, open resonance with excellent note bloom, while keeping the overall weight comfortable and balanced. Paired with the tempered maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, the result is a warm, articulate response that feels equally at home clean or pushed.

The relatively chunky ‘C’ neck carve is a real highlight here, filling the hand in a very reassuring way and suits players who appreciate a more traditional neck feel. Combined with the shorter 24.75" scale length and Jescar frets, the Solus M1 plays effortlessly, with bends feeling smooth and controlled.
