Fano Standard GF6 - a Les Paul / Telecaster inspired vintage-style guitar but with contemporary playability and feel. It has a factory distressed aged finish (covered in lacquer - see close up photos) and there is no discernible user wear.

 

The telecaster style appointments include an Alder body with bolt-on maple neck that has a medium-slightly chunky profile. It has a telecaster style single-coil Fano bridge pickup, ashtray bridge with compensated saddles, and a control plate with its master volume, master tone and three-way pickup selector blade switch. It has a Rosewood fingerboard with a modern compound 10-16" radius for modern playability.

The body shape and depth obviously hail from the Les Paul Special side of the tracks, as does the three-a-side headstock format, 629mm (24.75- inch) scale length and neck position P-90.

 

In it's hugely positive Music Radar review, they felt it was closer tonally to a Telecaster than a Les Paul - saying 'It's that 'warm treble' you hear Tele addicts going on about. The bridge unit still cuts through, without shrillness, and the balance between it and the neck position P-90 is exceptional, with virtually no change in volume when you flick the switch. The latter pickup is a dream for upper-'board blues stuff: warm and woody on clean and lightly overdriven sounds; flutey and almost synth-like with the gain cranked up'

 

It comes complete with a very premium original gig bag and some paperwork/tools as pictured.
