2019 PRS McCarty 594 – Black Gold

The 594 is PRS’s answer to the Les Paul but with modern playability, and John Mayer was recently quoted as saying it’s the best new guitar he’s played in recent years.

This particular 594 signature has a stunning highly-figured top and a special order Ebony fingerboard. Most would describe this as mint-condition, but if being exceptionally picky there is a tiny blemish on the back edge which is only visible if it catches the light, and is easy to miss even if searching for it.

This is a premium grade guitar with a solid Mahogany body, Maple top and binding. The Pattern Vintage neck shares its measurements with the PRS Pattern neck, but is constructed in a slightly asymmetrical manner (slightly thinner on the treble side, but slightly thicker on the bass side) - it's very comfortable in hand. The 58/15LT pickups sounds fantastic, with real punch and a lot of clarity – classic PAF tone and perfect for the majority of genres. You also get push/pull coil taps for each pickups for single coil tones on tap – plus independent volume and tone controls for each humbucker. 

It comes complete with its original hard case, tags and paperwork.
