2019 PRS McCarty 594 – Black Gold

The 594 is PRS’s answer to the Les Paul but with modern playability, and John Mayer was recently quoted as saying it’s the best new guitar he’s played in recent years. This particular USA McCarty 594 signature has a stunning highly figured top and is finished in Black/Gold.

It is in very good condition with just some very minor blemishes that are difficult to see unless closely inspecting and bouncing light off the surface (as per our pics). 

This is a premium grade guitar with a solid Mahogany body and stunning Maple top. The Pattern Vintage neck shares its measurements with the PRS Pattern neck, but is constructed in a slightly asymmetrical manner (slightly thinner on the treble side, but slightly thicker on the bass side) - it's very comfortable in hand. You also get a Rosewood fretboard with decorative bird inlays.

The 58/15LT pickups sounds fantastic, with real punch and a lot of clarity – classic PAF tone and perfect for the majority of genres. You also get push/pull coil taps for each pickups for single coil tones on tap – plus independent volume and tone controls for each humbucker. 

It comes complete with its original hard case, tags and paperwork. These tend to retail at around £3700 online, so pick up this beautiful example for a fraction of the price.
