2018 Gibson ES-235 - Cherry

Gibson are the kings when it comes to hollowbody guitars, and this rare Gibson Memphis ES-235 is no exception, offering stripped back aesthetics but the same classic mojo as a ES-335.

It is in very good condition with just blemishes on close inspection, which are barely noticeable unless bouncing light onto the surface (as we have done in our photos to exaggerate them). The frets are excellent and there's no breaks or repairs, with everything working as it should.

It features a super lightweight 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body with a Maple centre block. Delivering a rich and authentic tone, the ES-235 is resonant and beautifully balanced; it just oozes that Gibson mojo.

The comfortable rounded-C profile neck is crafted from Maple; it features a Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, a 12" radius and a 24.75" scale length, It feels smooth and comfortable, equally at home playing slick lead work or heavy chord strumming. A pair of BurstBucker Pro humbuckers delivers those classic '60s tones, deep, rich and resonant they offer great clarity.

Finally is comes with its original premium padded Gibson soft shell case and its certificate of authenticity.
