Stunning Custom Shop '58 Reissue 'R8' with a nicely figured top and finished in Washed Cherry VOS.

We have confirmation from Gibson that this was a limited edition guitar and it's in exceptional condition - a couple of tiny lacquer checking lines and blemishes if searching extremely closely and under direct lighting.

This historically accurate custom shop guitar features a Mahogany body, Maple top, thin nitro finish, Mahogany neck with a comfortable rounded 50s profile, Rosewood fingerboard, Kluson deluxe tuners, True Historic plastics, and nickel hardware. 

The Custom-buckers in this guitar sound huge. The bridge pickup has cut and snarl while still cleaning up nicely and delivering a smooth and balanced midrange, while the neck pickup has more warmth and girth, pairing well with the bridge when both pickups are engaged. 

It comes with its original Lifton case, COA and all of its paperwork - as pictured.
