2017 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1958 Reissue - Iced Tea

Custom Shop '58 Reissue Les Paul finished in Iced Tea VOS and with a striking figured top which sets it apart from the plainer tops found on most R8's. It looks fantastic and we've provided photos in both studio and natural light for comparison. It is in near-mint condition with the only very minor blemishes on the edge of the headstock, as pictured.

Articulate and resonant, this R8 is a great example of Gibson Custom Shop quality, and a textbook example of what quality tonewoods are capable of. There are few things finer than the rich warmth of mahogany paired with a carved maple top that adds cut and attack. The quartersawn mahogany neck has a chunky but comfortable 50’s rounded profile and it has a Rosewood fretboard with Pearloid trapezoid inlays, Nickel hardware, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with Stopbar Tailpiece, and Deluxe vintage style tuners. It has beautiful dye bleed to give it that true and accurate, vintage feel. The  Custombucker pickups sound superb and you get a 3-way toggle switch, 2x Volume, 2x Tone controls with vintage-style dial pointers.
 
Finally it comes complete with its original hardshell case, candy, paperwork and certificate of authenticity.
