Based on the Music Man Luke III, this BFR (Ball Family Reserve) Steve Lukather signature features an Alder body with stunning bookmatched Maple and is finished in Blueberry Burst Flame. BFR models are produced in highly limited numbers, allowing the general public to access tonewoods and features otherwise only available to artists and friends of the Ball family.

It is in very good condition with surface blemishes on close inspection, that we've exaggerated under direct lighting to make them more visible for the photographs. It has hairlines at the neck pocket (highly common on Music Man guitars) and the frets are in excellent condition. Everything works without issue.

The select roasted Maple neck benefits from a Rosewood fingerboard, with a 12" radius, 25.5" scale length and 22 low profile frets, it's a slim-medium profile and a fast and easy player. It has locking a floating vintage tremolo that allows for a massive 1 ½ step pull and is perfect for the flutter effect or full dives. It has locking tuners that remain accurate and stable. The top on the guitar has a stunning flame and we've provided photos in both studio and natural light for comparison.

Loaded with USA made DiMarzio Luke signature Transition pickups, the very same as on Lukathers own guitar, it can dial in all those lush tones that a player as versatile as Lukather requires. With a push/push volume control, you get upto 20dB of additional boost, perfect for leading into a monster solo.
