Rare Zemaitis Custom Shop Superior Series - an elegantly styled electric guitar with all the hallmarks of a classic Zemaitis ‘Superior’ level instrument, and a great example of why players like Ron Wood and Keith Richards from the Rollings Stones, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Rich Robinson loved Zemaitis guitars. This guitar is from the Custom Shop range (now discontinued) as opposed to the current standard range, resulting in higher quality materials and the guitar was handmade.

It's in near-mint condition with just a couple of barely visible blemishes on very close inspection - as pictured.

This particular model is adorned with the tiles of Mother of Pearl that were hand cut and placed by the master luthiers at the Zemaitis Japanese factory for a perfect fit. It has engraved hardware including the tailpiece, truss rod cover, logo, jack plate, back plates and pickup rings. Other features include a Mahogany body and chunk profile neck, Ebony fingerboard with 12” radius and Schaller M6 tuners. Satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish and DiMarzio Custom PAF DP103 pickups. The custom Zemaitis bridge and tailpiece are not only great looking, but highly functional and add tone and sustain!
