2015 Gibson 1959 Reissue ES-335TD - Historic Burst

Stunning Gibson 1959 reissue ES-335 finished in Sunburst VOS. In excellent condition with just very minor blemishes on close inspection that we had to highlight under direct studio lighting to make them visible.

Period correct features including the chunky ’59 shaped solid Mahogany neck with rolled binding, accurate body shape with “Mickey Mouse ears”,  Hot hide-glued quartersawn Adirondack spruce bracing, and historic truss rod. Other features include the 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 12" radius and Kluson Deluxe tuners.

The two MHS Alnico-III pickups deliver beautifully warm tones with a great response and a wonderfully open sound character.  Just as fat sounding as their solidbody Les Paul sisters, but with an extra touch of airiness in the sound, which is a real joy not only with clean chords, but also with distorted Blues riffs.

If you're looking for a classic semi-hollow with a traditional vintage look, fantastic sound and the best playing characteristics, you shouldn't hesitate too long with this gem - it comes complete with its original case and paperwork as pictured.
