This very rare USA strat was imported from Japan, and is the work of Custom Shop masterbuilder ‘Jason Smith’ – one of the world’s best. It is finished in a unique hand-stained trans turquoise finish with black grain filler, and has a contrast aluminium pickguard – it’s an astonishing looking guitar.

Exceptional condition (not far from mint). If you were being extremely picky there are a few feint marks on the pickguard (these may simply polish out) and see the close-up photo of the side of the guitar for 2 tiny blemishes. This has spent a lot of its life in a case, the frets have no notable wear and it’s one that will appeal to both players and collectors.

The impressive full spec can be seen on the Shop Floor Traveller (see image) but highlights include that stunning lightweight Ash body with satin urethane finish, a 5/4 quartersawn Maple neck with comfortable soft-V profile and 7.25 radius, vintage style tuners and bridge.

Tone-wise, not only does this guitar absolutely sing, but it’s incredibly versatile too. You get premium Fat 50s single coils in the neck/middle positions and an Enforcer humbucker at the neck for when you need even more punch. Controls include a 5 way switch, volume, and a tone control which also allows you to coil-split the humbucker as required.

It comes with it’s original blonde custom shop case, COA, Japan paperwork, custom shop cable and cleaning cloth (both unopened), ashtray cover, and trem arm etc (see pic).

This is a unique investment guitar that is as good as it gets – it’s unlikely you will ever see another one, so get in touch to ensure you don’t miss out!
