The British Invasion of 1964 initiated a rise in popularity of the model 325. The Model 325C64 duplicates this model as produced in 1964 and used by John Lennon. This example is super-lightweight at only 6lb 12oz and is in excellent condition with just minor wear/blemishes as photographed.

Features include a short-scale 20.75" semi-hollow Maple body, Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard, three vintage-style single coil toaster top pickups, and Accent Vibrato.

The pickups and controls on this model are wired slightly differently to that of a traditional dual pickup setup. Essentially, the bass and middle pickup are wired together, and the instrument is controlled as thought it has only two. When the switch is down, the treble pickup is on. When it's in the middle position, all three pickups are activated and when it is up is the bass and middle pickups. The fifth and final control works as a further tone control, it can work as a bass/treble EQ or to adjust the volume of the bass pickup in relation to the treble volume. The tonal possibilities are limitless with this guitar, it's no wonder Mr. Lennon favoured it so much!
