Rare Gibson SG Supra – a high-spec SG capable of both electric and piezo acoustic tones, that was only made for 1 year. It features a stunning highly figured body (photographed in both natural and studio light for comparison) and is finished in Antique Natural.

 

This model was similar to an SG Supreme, but featured a thick book-matched AAA maple body on a figured Maple back (as opposed to Mahogany). It’s super versatile and the pickup toggle selector switch can be rotated to blend in the Acoustic piezo tone to suit.

 

It is in excellent condition with just a few very minor blemishes on close inspection (as pictured). Everything works as it should without issue and there’s no breaks or repairs.

 

Other features included a Honduran Mahogany neck with rounded 50s profile with Mother of Pearl split block inlays, a traditional 12” radius, medium jumbo frets, a special decorative Mother of Pearl decal on the custom bound headstock, Grover locking tuners, and 3x ’57 Classic humbucker pickups plus a Fishman Powerbridge with Piezo saddles. It has stereo outputs (Piezo and Magnetic). 

 

This highly collectible guitar comes with its original case and paperwork.
