2013 Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster – Black

 

The USA Deluxe strat sat at the top of the USA Fender range (outside of custom shop) when released, and this example is finished in classic black.

 

It's in excellent condition for its age with just 1 very minor ding out of sight on the back edge as pictured. There's a few barely noticeable marks on the surface if being incredibly picky that certainly wouldn't show up on camera and as you'd expect to find on any black guitar once it has been used a few times. The frets are in very good condition with only minor wear. Everything works as it should without issue.

  

The high-spec includes an Alder body, comfortable ‘Modern C’ profile Maple neck, with compound radius and medium jumbo frets. In addition you get ‘deluxe’ features which include locking tuners, premium headstock inlay, pop-in trem arm, roller nut and a contoured heel joint for improved access to higher frets

 

In terms of electrics, you get 3x N3 noiseless single coil which sound great, plus S-1 switching for even more tonal options – it’s a very versatile guitar that will cover most genres with ease. This was originally the HSS model which means you benefit from the roller nut which didn't come on the SSS version. The body/neck have been checked as a orignal/matched from factory and the rest of the spec is absolutely identical to the factory SSS version.

 

It comes complete with its original Fender moulded hard case and paperwork. The case  has some impact damage from use over the years but it is fully functional and the clasps/hinges all work perfectly.
