Rare Custom Shop Ace Frehley signature Les Paul Custom finished in classic Cherry Sunburst. 

 

This limited-edition signature model was only made in 2012 and pays tribute to the iconic guitar used by Ace Frehley during KISS’s legendary 1977 Budokan performance in Tokyo, Japan. Combining Custom Shop craftsmanship with the rock-and-roll spirit of Ace, this guitar is both a collector’s piece and a monster player.

 

Excellent condition for age, with just a few barely visible blemishes that you’d have to closely inspect to find (we’ve exaggerated these significantly on the close-up photos under direct studio lighting, but in normal lighting they are difficult to see). No breaks or repairs, and  everything works as it should without issue.

 

Features include a carved Maple top on a Mahogany body, a Mahogany neck with a comfortable slim/rounded profile, Grover tuners with Pearloid Banjo buttons and three open-coil DiMarzio Super Distortion humbuckers wired in Ace’s unique configuration, this guitar delivers searing leads, thick rhythm tones, and unmistakable stage presence. The binding, split-diamond inlays, and Custom headstock logo make this a true Les Paul Custom through and through. 

You get all of the traditional custom specs including the Mahogany body with custom binding, comfortable medium-profile Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard, Pearl block inlays, gold hardware and original pickups which sound absolutely huge. You get 2x volume and 2x tone controls plus 3-way switching. 

 

It comes complete with its original Gibson hard case and its paperwork.
