The Reverend Club King blends vintage soul with boutique-level versatility. Built in South Korea, this semi-hollow guitar captures Reverend’s distinctive approach to tone and design — balancing resonance, comfort, and character in perfect harmony. This is the significantly rarer version with the stoptail as opposed to a Bigsby tremolo.
It is in very good condition with just minor cosmetic blemishes on close inspection and as you'd expect to find on a black used guitar of this age. We've tried to photograph these but the black gloss finish acts as a mirror so it's exceptionally challenging. Everything works as it should without issue.
The Club King’s semi-hollow korina body delivers exceptional warmth and dynamic response, with a lively acoustic quality that adds depth to every note. Its offset design and contoured shape make it light, perfectly balanced, and instantly comfortable whether you’re on stage or in the studio. The medium profile maple neck and rosewood fingerboard offer effortless playability and sustain, whilst the locking tuners provide tuning stability and easy string changes.
Loaded with Reverend’s signature pickups, the Club King produces everything from sparkling cleans to gritty, articulate drive — rich in overtones and full of personality. The bass contour control lets you sculpt your tone even further, rolling from vintage thump to tight, focused punch at the twist of a knob. We've added a gig bag to keep it protected.
