2009 Gibson Les Paul '52 Tribute Limited Edition - Gold Top

Rare and highly collectible '52 Tribute Les Paul Gold-top. Only 564 of these beautiful guitars were ever made, each with one of the 94 years in the life of Les Paul on the back of the headstock. Only 6 guitars were made to represent each year.

This is a guitar that will appeal to collectors and players. It's in very good condition with just minor blemishes that we have highlighted (and exaggerated) under direct studio lighting) to make them more visible. The frets are in excellent condition and everything works as it should.

The spec includes the classic Mahogany body with Maple top and nitro finish, Mahogany neck with comfortable medium profile, Rosewood board with block inlays and silver tribute truss cover.  The bridge is an exact replica of Les' original 1952 patent bridge, and Gibson also added historical detailing like stamping "prototype" into the back of the headstock. It stays true to Les' preference for P-90 pickups, which sound absolutely fantastic with classic Les Paul tone.

The '52 Tribute truly honours both the most important figure in guitar history, and the guitar he designed and loved. It is an investment guitar and comes complete with its special COA/paperwork, and original case to keep it protected.
