2009 Fender American Deluxe Ash Stratocaster – Aged Cherry Burst

USA Deluxe strat – this was top of the USA Fender range (outside of Custom Shop) at the time of launch, having been renamed in more recent years as the Elite/Ultra. This one is finished in Aged Cherry Sunburst, one of the most premium of the finishes as it came twinned with a stunning highly figured Ash body, rather than Alder which was used across most other deluxe strats.

  

Excellent condition with just a couple of barely visible blemishes that you’d have to closely inspect to find (we’ve exaggerated these significantly on the close-up photos under direct studio lighting, but in normal lighting they are less visible). No breaks or repairs, and  everything works as it should without issue.

 

The high spec includes that beautiful Ash body, comfortable relatively slim 'modern C' profile Maple neck, with 9.5” radius and 22 medium jumbo frets. You also get extra 'deluxe' features like locking tuners, abalone inlays, premium headstock decal, and a contoured heel joint for improved access to higher frets.

 

It features noiseless single coil pickups for quiet operation and classic strat tone, plus you get an S-1 switch for extra tonal options. It's a very versatile guitar that will cover a lot of genres, and sounds great.

 

It comes with its original Fender hard case, its paperwork, tags and trem arm as pictured.
