Top of the line Custom Shop '59 reissue finished in Iced Tea nitro and with a stunning figured flame top that we're photographed in both natural and studio light for comparison.

 

The ’59 is the holy grail of Les Pauls and this one is in very good condition with some cosmetic wear and blemishes on close inspection - most notably out of sight on the back edge as pictured. The frets are in great condition and the finish is ageing beautifully with some light lacquer checking starting to form on the surface - which looks great. There's no breaks or repairs, and everything works as it should without issue.

 

The 1959 Les Paul Standard is probably the most coveted guitars in the world, with only around 650 of the original 59 guitars produced, making them rare and beyond unaffordable to most. Here we have the Custom Shop replica of the classic guitar crafted by the world's top luthiers to recreate the icon with incredible accuracy and attention to detail.

 

It features a lightweight Mahogany body, flamed Maple top, chunky ‘C’ shape mahogany neck with smooth Rosewood fretboard and 22 historic medium jumbo frets, ABR-1 bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The Burstbucker pickups sound great - full and powerful whilst also being dynamic with plenty of resonance and sustain. 

  

It comes with its original lifton-style case, COA, and paperwork as pictured.
