Celebrate four decades of British guitar heritage with the Burns 40th Anniversary “The Marvin”, a faithful and premium tribute to the instrument made famous by Hank Marvin of The Shadows.

Handcrafted with meticulous attention to period-correct detail, this limited-edition reissue is designed for discerning players, collectors, and vintage tone enthusiasts alike. It is in practically mint condition - with just a tiny hairline at the neck pocket (from factory) if being picky. It will appeal to both collectors and players alike.

It features a select alder body carved with classic vintage contours, paired with a Canadian hard rock maple neck offering 22 frets for modern playability. It has a Rosewood fingerboard finished with traditional dot inlays.  The Burns Deluxe Rezo-Tube vibrato bridge provides smooth expression and stability, it has Chrome vintage-style hardware and unique touches like the scroll headstock, bound neck, and a limited edition commemorative plaque round out this faithful tribute to one of Britain’s most iconic guitars.

The trio of "Rez-o-Matic" single coil pickups are handwound to original specifications, with plenty of sparkle, twang, and nuance. In addition to the typical five-way pickup selector switch, this guitar is wired in such a way to offer the player features that most Strat players crave, including access to extra pickup options via a push/pull tone control. 

It comes complete with its original silver hard case to keep your investment protected and its COA, paperwork, cleaning cloth, leather strap etc - as pictured.
