2003 Fender Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster – Blackie

Superb ‘Artist series’ Eric Clapton USA strat – finished in his trademark ‘Blackie’ finish.

It's in very good condition for age with some signs of use and wear - we've tried to photograph these (but challenging given reflections from the gloss black finish) and there's certainly nothing nasty. A small hairline at one corner of the neck pocket (cosmetic only) and the frets are in excellent condition for age with tonnes of life left in them. Everything works as it should without issue.

The classic spec includes an Alder body, Maple neck with comfortable soft-V profile, 9.5” radius and vintage style frets, American vintage synchronised tremolo, micro-tilt neck plate, and vintage style tuners. It’s the tonal versatility that really sets this guitar apart from other strats, with 3x vintage noiseless single coil pickups, an active mid-boost (25db) and TBX control.

It's a nice example and comes with its original tweed hard case, trem arm, trem-block and paperwork.
