Collectible Gibson Pete Townshend signature SG finished in classic Cherry Red. Released in 2001 (a desirable period for Gibson), this model followed the runaway success of the Custom Shop model of the previous year.

A live staple during The Who’s true ascendancy to rock god status, Pete Townshend’s SG Special is iconic, setting stages alight all over the world. The guitar is in very good condition for age, with just signs of wear on close inspection (and that we've exaggerated on our photos by bouncing light onto the surface to make them more visible). Minor signs of use to the frets as you'd expect given age, but all perfectly functional. No breaks or repairs and everything works as it should without issue.

Following the same solid Honduran Mahogany construction as the Custom Shop model, this featured a more medium profile neck, unlike the Custom shop model which featured a Slim Taper neck. It has Rosewood fingerboard, upgraded Gibson deluxe tuners, Pete Townshend headstock decal and P90 pickups which sound fantastic. It comes with its original case to protect it.
