2001 Fender American Series Stratocaster – Chrome Red

Fender American Series (later renamed as the American Standard) Stratocaster - finished in the rare Chrome Red finish.

In very good condition with some blemishes and wear as pictured. Everything works as it should without issue.

It has an Alder body with a comfortable modern-C profile Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard, sealed tuners, and synchronised trem bridge with 6x saddles.

The pickups have been given an upgrade with Bare Knuckle Irish Tour single coils in the neck/middle positions, and a Kent Armstrong STHR1 'Power Blade' humbucker in the bridge posiition for more power when required. It has treble bleed, and one of the tone pots has been converted so you can dial in whether you want full humbucker or a traditional (coil tap) single coil tone in the bridge position. It's a highly versatile guitar and comes with the hard case pictured and its trem-arm.
