The Levinson Blade RH-4 Classic is a high-spec and super-versatile 'stratocaster-type' guitar that blends traditional design with modern innovation, offering a high-performance experience for discerning players. This desirable early 90's example was handmade in Japan, prior to them moving production to Asia a few years later.
It is in very good condition with some blemishes and wear as highlighted on the photos. Some minor wear to the frets (again cosmetic only and not affecting playability) and everything works as it should without issue.
Crafted with premium tonewoods and expert attention to detail, the RH-4 features a beautifully contoured Ash body that delivers comfort and resonance in equal measure. Its Hard Rock Flamed Maple neck has a medium profile provides a smooth playing experience with clarity and sustain. Other features include an Ebony fingerboard, gold hardware, mirror pickguard, the Falcon tremolo bridge, and locking Sperzel tuners.
It features the signature Variable Spectrum Control (VSC) preamp system, which adds an extra layer of tonal flexibility. With the flick of a switch, players can enhance low-end warmth, midrange punch, or shimmering highs, making it easy to adapt to any musical style or setting. The combination of SS-1 hum-cancelling single-coil pickups and a LH-4 humbucker in the bridge delivers a dynamic range of tones — from sparkling cleans to powerful leads—with impressive articulation and balance. The humbucker pickup can also be split to make it a traditional single-coil at the bridge if required.
