Super-rare Gibson Les Paul M3 - made only in 1991/2 and finished in classic Honey Burst. It was designed to inject the tonal versatility of a 3-pickup layout with 5-way switching into a full-spec, Les Paul body - likely to provide crossover appeal to Fender owners etc.

It is in excellent condition for age with just minor wear as photographed (exaggerated on our photos under direct studio lighting to make it more visible than it is in normal lighting conditions). There is a slightly darker element to the front of the guitar -  this is wood grain, not a a blemish. The frets are in very good condition with signs of use that is cosmetic only and not affecting playability at all - lots of life left in them. It is starting to age beautifully and there are some barely visible lacquer checking lines starting to form (they are very faint but again we've tried to capture these on the photos). No breaks or repairs - it's a superb example.

The spec includes the traditional Mahogany body with bound Maple cap, a slim profile Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard, trapezoid inlays, 22 frets and Gibson deluxe tuners.

The Mark III electronics include hum/single/hum pickup configuration, 5 way blade switch, plus an additional coil-taping mini-switch, making it one of the most versatile Les Pauls ever designed.

Rarely seen on the preowned market, this collectible guitar comes with its original case and paperwork as pictured.

In almost every respect, the Gary Moore Signature Les Paul BFG is not an ordinary Les Paul - including the surface and texture of the body and neck. The most powerful, radical Les Paul needed a raw look, so Gibson's designers decided to leave the surface carving marks on the solid maple top and mahogany body - exactly as they appear when they emerge from the rough mill. The body of the Gary Moore Signature Les Paul BFG is then given a Lemon Burst finish that closely resembles the finish on Moore's historic, original Les Pauls. The neck is also given its initial finish, then hand-sanded to yield its own unique worn appearance. A smooth coat of satin nitrocellulose is then applied over the entire guitar, insuring less interference with the natural vibration of the instrument - producing a purer tone - and allowing the wood to breathe and age naturally and properly over the course of its life.

It features a lightweight, chambered Mahogany body with Maple top, a Mahogany neck with traditional rounded 50s neck profile and Grover tuners. It has a P-90 pickup (neck) and one Zebra Burstbucker 3 exposed humbucker pickup (bridge) which sound great. You also get a three-way pickup switch, kill switch toggle, and volume / tone controls. It comes with its original hard-case, paperwork and strap.
