In 1991, Fender brought out a new Squier line made in the Fuji-Gen factory in Japan. To kickstart the new range, Fender released a premium Squier Hank Marvin signature Stratocaster in limited numbers, which aside from the faded fiesta red body, one ply pickguard and Squier name, was almost identical to the Fender late 80s/early90's made in Japan Stratocaster.
This collectible, vintage guitar is in excellent condition for age, with just a few minor blemishes, and wear as you'd expect from a guitar that has been played and enjoyed for the past 35 years - see photos. Signs of use to the frets but cosmetic only and not affecting playability, and everything works as it should without issue.
The spec includes a Basswood body, a medium profile Maple neck with a comfortable 'worn-in' vintage feel, 7.25” radius, Gotoh tuners and vintage-style 6-saddle bridge with trem-arm. Finally is has 3x standard single coil pickups plus volume/tone control and and versatility is provided via its 5 way selector switch. It comes with a gig bag included.
