Beautiful 90's Jerry Donahue Signature telecaster finished in a transparent crimson red.
It is based on the popular ‘62 Custom Telecaster with it's double binding, has premium Japanese build quality, and is more versatile than a traditional tele thanks to its unique 5-way switching. It is in very good condition with some wear on close inspection. Many of the blemishes are not visible unless bouncing light onto the surface as we have done in our photographs to exaggerate them.
It features a double bound Alder body, with a comfortable ‘V’ profile Maple neck, 7.25” radius, 21 frets, vintage style tuners, and a ’52-style 3-saddle bridge.
The electrics are unique to this model, featuring both a strat and telecaster Alnico pickups and featuring his preferred 5-way pickup selector - offering a wide variety of tones from both classic models. Finally, we’ve added a hard case free of charge to keep this beautiful guitar protected.
Note: Jerry Donahue telecasters like this were all built between 1994-1999. They are notoriously difficult to date accurately as the serial numbers used did not follow traditional Fender protocols (they all came with serial numbers beginning with 'A - which would typically mean a 1980s build, which was prior to this model being launched!).
