Rare early 80s 'Custom Shop Edition' ES-335 finished in Natural. These high-spec guitars were built in Nashville in very small numbers prior to the Custom Shop being established.

This 60s-style beauty is in very good condition for age with some wear and blemishes from use over the past 43 years. The frets show signs of use as expected but all wear is cosmetic only and not affecting playability etc. It has been checked for breaks/repairs and is clean - and everything works as it should without issue.

The specs include a Maple body, slim-taper Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, Grover tuners, special decals and a pair of Tim Shaw pickups which sound fantastic. The knobs and bridge have both been changed but the originals are included in the case. It has an incredible figured body that we've photographed in both natural and studio light for comparison.

This hugely collectible guitar comes with a modern Gator case for maximum protection.
