1981 Fender American Stratocaster – Natural

Vintage American strat with a beautifully figured Ash body and finished in natural.

It has some wear/blemishes as you'd expect given age (see photos) and the body has lots of lacquer checking on it on close inspection - tonnes of vintage vibe! The frets are fine and everything works as it should without issue.

In addition to the Ash body, it has a medium-chunky profile maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, 70’s headstock with bullet truss, tremolo bridge and its single coil pickups sound fantastic – classic Strat tone, and versatility thanks to its 5-way switch.

It comes with its original Fender case to keep this investment guitar protected - alongside some original paperwork and candy including a strap, trem-arm, and ashtray cover and cable. The serial number dates to 1979 but we have dated the guitar by using its internal stamps/codes (as 1979 serial numbers were frequently used on many guitars manufactured between 1979-1981).
