Highly collectible original Anniversary Les Paul that was built to commemorate 25 years of the Les Paul, and also 50 years of Les Paul himself being in the music business.

It’s in very good condition with just the normal wear/surface blemishes you’d expect from a 47 year old vintage guitar. Some rash on the back (not through to the wood) and some tarnishing to the hardware. No breaks/repairs, no fret issues and everything works as it should without issue.

This is an extremely high-spec guitar, built in Gibson's Kalamazoo plant. Some of the features which distinguish the 25/50 include the intricate pearl and abalone "25/50" headstock inlay, creative use of silver and gold hardware combinations, abalone side dot marker inlays, 5-piece maple neck with comfortable medium (60’s-style) profile, Ebony board with split block parallelogram inlays (one of only two Les Paul production models to sport these inlays), enlarged control cavity, gold ‘Anniversary’ truss rod cover, and a coil tap mini-switch.

In addition it has multi-ply binding on the front/back of the body front of the headstock, a volute, Nashville bridge with TP-6 fine tuning tailpiece, black speed knobs, Schaller style "Gibson" tuners, and Series VII pickups which sound massive!

It plays beautifully and comes complete with its Gibson Protector case to keep this very special investment guitar safe.
