1979 Fender American Hardtail Stratocaster – Sunburst

USA vintage 70s strat with a highly-figured Ash body and finished in classic sunburst. One of the lightest late-70's strats we've ever stocked at only 8lb 1oz.

It's in very condition for age with various signs of wear and blemishes on the body and some rash on the back. The body has a relic vibe with lots of vintage mojo, however the neck/headstock etc are practically mint. The frets have some minor wear as photographed (cosmetic only and not affecting playability at all) and everything works as it should without issue.

It features an Ash body with nicely rounded (medium-chunky) profile maple neck, 70’s headstock with bullet truss, black plastics, F-stamp tuners, and hardtail bridge. The single coil pickups sound fantastic – classic Strat tone, and it's versatile thanks to its 5-way switch. It comes its original paperwork, and a hard case.
