1979 Fender American Stratocaster – Natural

Vintage American strat with a beautifully figured Ash body and finished in natural.

In good condition with various wear/blemishes as you'd expect on a 47 year old guitar and plenty of vintage vibe! The frets have some wear but not affecting playability at all, and the neck has a wonderful worn in feel, but none of the blemishes are particularly noticeable when your hand is in playing position. At some stage the neck pickup was routed for a humbucker and a string retainer bar was installed - since removed leaving some exposed holes on the headstock. Everything works as it should without issue.

In addition to the Ash body, it has a medium profile maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, 70’s headstock with bullet truss, tremolo bridge (arm included) and its non-original single coil pickups sound fantastic – classic Strat tone. The tuners have been replaced for Gotoh tuners and it comes in a vintage Fender hard case that has upgraded catches for safe transportation.
