Vintage '78 Gibson Les Paul Artisan 3-Pickup - a stunning, all original example of one of Gibson's most recognisable and collectible 70's Les Paul variations, complete with its original Protector hard case.

This 48 year old guitar is a very dark Walnut finish (which looks almost like a translucent black in reality) and is in exceptional condition for its age, with very little in the way of wear/blemishes (we've tried to highlight these and exaggerate them in the photos under direct studio lighting).

The Les Paul Artisan is one of the most distinctive and ornate Les Paul models. Introduced as a premium guitar, the Artisan combines the substantial construction of a late-’70s Les Paul with elaborate appointments including an Ebony fingerboard, ornate Mother-of-Pearl “Hearts and Flowers” inlays, multi-ply binding, gold hardware, and three original Gibson humbuckers. It has a Mahogany body with carved Maple top and a 3-piece Maple neck with a slim profile.
