1976 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe – Tobacco Sunburst

Vintage Les Paul Deluxe from '76 – finished in classic sunburst.

 

Very good condition for a 48 year old guitar, with just the common signs of wear, blemishes and lacquer checking as you'd expect for a 48 year old guitar (see pics). Some buckle rash to the rear which is barely visible unless bouncing light onto the surface we we've done in the photographs. It's had a recent pro refret (barely noticeable as nibs still intact). No breaks or repairs, and everything works as it should.

  

The spec includes a Mahogany body with a relatively slim profile neck, silky smooth matte finish neck with Rosewood fretboard, chrome hardware and upgraded premium Schaller deluxe tuners. The pots and twin mini humbucker pickups are original and sound great, with plenty of punch when required.

 

It comes complete with a non-original pickguard and its original hard case, which is in fair condition but still perfectly functional for storage. Two of the five catches are no longer working and there is a crack at one end (pictured).
