Iconic vintage 70’s Les Paul Custom finished in Alpine White, and that has aged and yellowed beautifully over the years. This hugely desirable finish has become iconic due to players like Randy Rhoads, Steve Jones and Sylvain Sylvain amongst others.
It's in very good condition, with wear, blemishes, lacquer checking, as you'd expect for a 48 year-old guitar. Plenty of vintage character and everything works as it should with no breaks or repairs. It is marked as 'second' on the headstock so it likely had a paint/finish flaw when first produced - not that you'd be able to tell nearly 50 years later given the ageing. The original pots indicate this is a very early 1977 production, despite the 1976 serial number.
The spec includes the classic Mahogany body, comfortable slim profile Maple neck, premium Ebony board, and gold hardware. The original Gibson T-Top humbuckers sound fantastic - classic Les Paul tone.
It comes with its original case which is in decent condition (1 missing catch and another which is loose) - it's still fully functional though.
