1974 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe - Cherry Sunburst

 

Vintage Les Paul Deluxe from '74 – finished in classic cherry sunburst.

 

Condition-wise, these is various wear and dings as you'd expect for a 52 year-old guitar (see pics) - but no breaks or repairs. Some lacquer peel (most notably around the heel area), however the neck is silky smooth and nothing is felt when playing. It has some lacquer checking and tonnes of vintage character! It was recently refretted so the frets are practically mint.

  

The spec includes a Mahogany body with slim-medium profile neck, Rosewood fretboard, Gibson deluxe tuners and chrome hardware. The bridge has been updated to a Gotoh unit (the original is included in the case) and we think the pickguard may potentially be a reproduction. The twin mini humbuckers sound great with plenty of punch when required – lovely tone. 

 

It comes complete with its original hard case to keep this vintage beauty protected.
