Beautiful, early 70's ES-345 finished in classic sunburst.
Built in the famous Kalamazoo factory and is in very condition for age with just the wear/blemishes and lacquer checking you'd expect for a guitar of this vintage (see photos where we've detailed examples). The blemishes on the back of the neck are not felt when playing, and the guitar has been checked over under UV light etc to ensure no breaks or repairs.
The spec includes a double-cutaway arched Maple semi-hollow body with f-holes, comfortable slim/medium C-profile neck with Rosewood fingerboard, black pickguard, block inlays and 12" radius. The original trapeze has been switched to a stoptail and it has updated Gibson Deluxe tuners. The highly original and highly desirable tarback pickups sound fantastic - classic Gibson tone.
It has a few common electrical modifications that are highly common on ES vintage guitars - firstly it is now mono rather than stereo to increase practicality and allow traditional guitar cables to be used, and the Varitone has been disconnected to improve output and tone. It has quality upgraded Gibson pots, meaning the lack of original pot codes make it difficult to pinpoint the exact year of build, but it is certainly between 1970 and 1975 given the serial number and 'Made in USA' placement on the back of the headstock.
It comes with its original case to keep it protected - just 1 of the 6 catches isn't working, so it's fully functional.
