Highly collectible year-1 vintage Fender Jaguar - from the first 3 months of production with the desirable slab board, original case, and finished in its original classic 3 Tone Sunburst. 

The Jaguar was released in 1962 as Fender’s all new top of the range guitar and has enjoyed iconic status ever since. This beautiful example is in very good condition for a 64 year old vintage guitar, with various wear, blemishes as photographed. The original frets are in great shape, and everything works as it should without any playability or electrical issues.

The guitar is all original with the exception of a few minor changes over it's long-life to ensure it's functionality and playability has been maintained. It has had a new nut, one switch has been replaced by a NOS switch, and the pickups have been lightly repotted for quiet operation. It comes with both its original bridge and a premium staytrem unit, it's original mute (which has been re-foamed), and bridge cover. The original factory shim, switch and nut are all included in the case, alongside a leather strap and trem-arm.

It has a silky smooth slim-medium profile neck and its plays beautifully (far better than many vintage guitars we've played from this era). The neck stamp states 1st May '62B (one of the last guaranteed slab board production months) and we have many additional photos detailing the internals of this guitar which are available on request. The value of these is only going to go up and up - don't miss the opportunity to secure this stunning example before it's gone.
