Rare and highly collectible Revolution E230TD – a faithful reproduction of John's beloved 1965 Casino that he purchased in 1966, before then stripped the finish off in 1968. This limited edition, American built Casino pays tribute to one of the most iconic Beatles guitars, and is one that will excite both collectors and players.
It is in excellent condition with just some minor blemishes on close inspection - as pictured. A couple of blemishes are out of sight on the back of the neck, but these are just on the surface and certainly not felt when playing. No fret issues, breaks or repairs, and everything works as it should.
It features a 5-ply Maple/Birch body that is sculpted on the original mid-60s design, a comfortable Mahogany neck with the original Elliptical profile, Rosewood fingerboard with Parallelogram inlays, Trapeze tailpiece and Grover tuners. The Gibson USA P-90 pickups (and Gibson electronics) sound fantastic and it has volume/tone control per pickup. It’s all original and the attention to detail is superb, including the marks/holes on the back of the headstock where John switched the tuners out on the original, and his original serial number on the back of the headstock.
This limited run was built between 2003-2006 and importantly this investment guitar comes complete with its original vintage-style case, Certificate of Authenticity, paperwork and candy which includes the unfitted pickguard, control knob etc.
