Gibson Custom Shop '59 reissue Les Paul finished in Golden Poppy VOS and with a stunning highly-figured flamed top which we've photographed in both studio/natural lighting for comparison.

 

It's in very near-mint condition with just a couple of blemishes on extremely close inspection. These are impossible to see in normal lighting, and even when bouncing studio light directly onto them to exaggerate them for our photos they are barely visible. Used very little since original purchase, so an opportunity to save big vs the typical online new price.

 

The 1959 Les Paul Standard is probably the most coveted guitars in the world, with only around 650 of the original 59 guitars produced, making them rare and beyond unaffordable to most. This Custom Shop replica of the classic guitar is crafted by the world's top luthiers to recreate the icon with incredible accuracy and attention to detail.

  

It features a nicely figured 1-piece Mahogany body, flamed Maple top, chunky ‘C’ shape mahogany neck with smooth Rosewood fretboard and medium jumbo frets, deluxe tuners, anniversary backplate, ABR-1 bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The Custom Bucker pickups sound fantastic - full and powerful whilst also being dynamic with plenty of resonance and sustain. Anyone who plays this guitar will instantly feel where the legendary status of the '59 comes from.

 

It comes complete with it's original lifton-style case and paperwork.
