2023 Fender Kurt Cobain Signature Jaguar - 3 Colour Sunburst

Kurt Cobain, Grunge's leading light is given his own retrospective tribute with this signature Jaguar - commonly used in his time with Nirvana. This example has been given a non-factory relic to make it look more like the Roadworn model, which are no longer available and typically sell for around £2200.

This signature guitar is based on Kurt's heavily modified 1965 Jaguar, where the traditional pickups were changed to a pair of DiMarzio humbuckers, namely a Super Distortion in the bridge and a PAF in the neck. This of course completely changes the sound: the spiky, nasal twang of the Jag is replaced with thick, powerful humbucker rock sounds; it's a very chunky sound!

The rosewood neck is bound and the headstock is small like a Stratocaster. Even the infamous Jaguar tone controls have been simplified to a three way toggle and a brace of volume and tone knobs. Other features include a comfortable modern C profile neck, 9.5" radius, medium jumbo frets, Gotoh tuners, and floating tremolo tailpiece with lock button. It comes with a Fender hard case to keep it protected.
