Beautiful Custom Shop 1959 Reissue ES-335 finished in Vintage Natural. 

It has a Murphy Lab 'ultra light aged' finish which needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate (although we have tried to highlight this by shining light onto the surface in some of the photos). It is completely covered in lacquer checking and looks stunning.

 

Thanks to a year of studying, scanning and listening to original examples. The experts at Gibson Custom Shop have rendered every contour, profile, inlay and colour of the priceless vintage models in magnificent detail, and the result is a playing and ownership experience that will keep you coming back for more!

 

Features on this '59 reissue include the classic double bound semi-hollow 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body with nitro lacquer finish, solid Mahogany neck with comfortable '59 Medium C-Shape profile and hand-rolled edges and Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 12 radius, Medium Jumbo frets and aged Nickel hardware including Kluson Deluxe tuners, ABR-1 bridge, lightweight Aluminium Stop Bar, and Black Butyrate Top Hat knobs with Dial Pointers

 

Tone-wise you get unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups for classic tone, 2 volume controls, 2 tone controls, 3-way Switchcraft pickup selector, CTS 500k Audio Taper Potentiometers and Paper-in-oil Capacitors. Essentially, no expense has been spared to ensure that it's a guitar that is as good as it gets.

 

It comes with its original Lifton Gibson hard case, its Murphy Lab COA and all of its original paperwork etc as pictured.
